6 Million Passengers Through Various Outlets in Sharjah 2013

General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah, has announced that the movement of entry and exit for travelers across the land, sea and air in the Emirate of Sharjah during 2013 amounted to 6 million passengers, where the number of arrivals reached 5.3 million passengers, while the total number of departures 5.2 million passengers. 
Brigadier General Dr Abdullah Sahoo, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Sharjah, said to "AlKhaleej": The total traffic coming to port land “Khatm Milala” reached 4.1 million passengers, while the number of departing passengers is 137.365. and the number of arrivals through Sharjah International Airport reached Two Millions passengers, and departing One Million passengers, while the number of arrivals via sea ports is 691.56 travelers, and the number of departing is 883.33 passengers. 
Director of Sharjah Residency explained that the administration is working to develop the field of customer service, through many achievements and projects to implement the strategy of the Ministry of Interior, which aims to enhance the quality of services provided, such as comprehensive employee and service platforms in the centers in addition to the development of customer service through initiatives that will motivate employees and raise the efficiency of their performance, and the applying of methods capable of managing the business smoothly and accurately, guided by the latest technical means to achieve excellence in accurate manner.
