The Ministry of Interior has launched the “Share My Knowledge” initiative on the level of the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector in the UAE. The initiative comes as response to the request of Major General Dr. Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, Secretary General of the Office of H.H Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, to exchange, promote, and transfer knowledge amongst individuals. The initiative aims to benefit from the expertise of the previous leaders in various police work fields in order to serve the organizational excellence by improving occupational performance indicators. To launch the initiative, the Strategy and Performance Development Directorate at the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector organized an event.

During the launching event that was held at the Spirit of the Union Hall, at the Assistant Undersecretary for Naturalization, Residency and Port Affairs’ Office; Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Acting Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior for Naturalization, Residency and Ports Affairs, called upon the Naturalization, Residency and Ports Sector in the UAE to spread knowledge and to apply such knowledge gained in all fields of police work.

Major General Al Khaili said: “Teamwork, intimacy, and familiarity greatly contribute to advancing police work and positively affects employees.” He referred to the distinctiveness of the UAE community for its noble traditions and customs - such as love and brotherhood among all individuals – and encouraged every person to preserve and transfer the genuine traditions of the Emirati community to future generations.
For his part, Brigadier Saeed Rakan Al Rashedi, Head of the Naturalization Department, discussed the UAE Citizenship Law; while Colonel Abdullah Ali Al Hosani reviewed the regulatory procedures for the entry and exit of foreigners.
